appx

Privacy policy

Updated 7 October 2026. This policy explains what appx stores when you browse, sign in with Google, list a product, or trade with play credits.

appx is a play-credit game for discovering apps. Play credits are not money, equity, or a prize. This policy covers appx and the Google sign-in used to open an account.

Google account data

If you sign in, Google shares the following with appx through Supabase Auth:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your profile picture, when Google provides one
  • Your Google account id

appx uses that information to create your account, show your name and picture in the header, and keep your wallet, listing, and trades separate from other people. appx does not use Google account data for advertising, and it does not sell it.

Information you add

  • A product listing: the website address, name, description, topic, and images you submit. appx requests that website to read its public page and to refuse addresses and pages the listing rules do not allow.
  • Trades, quotes, and the play-credit balance on your account.
  • Notes you save. A note is public on your profile.
  • Founder updates you post on your own listing.

Information collected automatically

  • Session cookies that keep you signed in.
  • An anonymous visitor id stored in your browser. It is used only to count a featured-app impression. It is not your Google account and it does not decide what you can buy.
  • A record when you open a product while signed in.

What other people can see

Your public profile shows your display name, handle, play-credit balance, holdings, trades, notes, and any app you listed. It does not show your email address or Google account id. Market prices, buyer counts, and round standings are visible to anyone.

Who else processes this

Google handles the sign-in prompt. Supabase hosts authentication and the appx database. appx does not give your Google data to advertisers or data brokers. When you submit a listing, the appx server requests that public website. That request includes a short user agent identifying appx.

How long it is kept

Account, trade, note, and listing records stay for as long as the account exists, including the history of a round. Signing out removes the session from that browser. It does not delete the account.

Deletion

You can ask for your account to be deleted. Send the request from the Google account you used on appx, to the support email below. Deletion removes your profile, wallet, notes, and listing ownership from the live app. A listing other people already traded stays in the round history so prices and payouts remain accurate, without your email or account id.

Children

appx is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change. The current version is always linked from the footer.
